here to start in Thailand ! Is hard, I spend one month traveling the whole country and I feel I need to go back 10 times more. Bangkok is just a city that never stops filled with great restaurants many of them with 2 Michelin starts, great night clubs, lots of shopping, spas and of course lots of history and art. What else you want ! I can go on an on telling you what to do there but is better we focus in the important thing. I will just share what to look at and what not to miss.
Where to stay ?
Bangkok is one of the best cities in the world for those who adore hotels. An added bonus? You'll find luxury hotels at half the price of Tokyo, Shanghai, or New York City.
Lebua Hotel
I syated here for a week, very simple to be a five stars hotel, but the bar is just worth the stay.
Sky Bar is one of the highest rooftop bars in the world
The siam
Mandarin Oriental Bangkok
Stayed there about 5 days, great service, very local. But not the same level of other Mandarin oriental around the world. Afternoon tea is one of the best in the city.

Top chefs stock their kitchens here, and is a must. Is like disneyland of food. I highly recommend to go with your personal guide. To understand things and avoid judging things that we just don't know and are part of a different culture.
